Loyola Academy's Hoerster Field Illuminated for First Night Game Victory

Beyond being a soccer game, this event held profound significance, marking a pivotal milestone in Loyola Academy's storied history. It heralded the beginning of a new chapter for athletics at Loyola Academy and the entire Rambler community.

"The goal of a Jesuit education is to bring people together and to help shape our students’ lives with meaningful experiences over their four years at Loyola. The decision to pursue permanent lights is anchored in a vision of bringing our community together in meaningful and impactful ways," stated Loyola Academy President Rev. Gregory J. Ostdiek, SJ, earlier this school year.

The installation of permanent lights at Sachs Stadium reflects Loyola Academy's commitment to fostering a sense of togetherness and belonging among its students, parents, friends, and neighbors. As the night unfolded on the illuminated field, it marked the beginning of a new chapter for Loyola Academy, illuminated by the spirit of camaraderie and shared achievement.
