Parents - Women of Wisdom
Introduction
Established in 2001, The Women of Wisdom Society was formed to bring Loyola women together to share in the pursuit of knowledge and the life of the mind. Each year, distinguished educators, innovators and professionals come to Loyola Academy to present thought -provoking lectures followed by Q&A and discussion that often continues through lunch. It’s a wonderful opportunity to catch up with old friends – and make new ones. We hope to ignite the intellect, inspire lively discussion and foster new friendships.
The 2010 WOW lecture series begins on Tuesday October 5th and continues for a total of 4 Tuesday lectures, with a very special evening lecture and presentation on Thursday, October 21st by Immaculee Ilibagiza – a Rwandan Genocide Survivor, Author and Peace Advocate. Subscribers to either the 2 or 4 lecture series have the option of joining a kick-off bus tour, September 28th, to visit Cuneo Mansion and Gardens and Mundelein Seminary. This tour is limited to the first 50 participants who sign up for either the 2 or 4 lecture series. Subscribers to either series receive complimentary entrance to Immaculee’s evening appearance.
The series fee is $200 for all 4 lectures, $125 for two lectures. Please click on the attached brochure for more information, bring a friend and join us this Fall!
