Water Polo - Girls [Varsity]
LA: 11 | New Trier High School: 4

The Girls Varsity Water Polo Team beat host New Trier on Friday 11-4. Trailing 4-1 after the first quarter, the Ramblers scored 10 unanswered goals for the win. Goals were scored by Maeve O'Connor (7), Caitlin Sershon (2), and Ashley Letrich (2). Kristina Alexander made 9 saves in the goal. The next game is at St. Pats against Resurrection on Monday with F/S at 5pm and Varsity at 6pm. Go Ramblers!

Loyola 8 Queen of Peace 0 Carrie Schoenberger 4 Goals. Laura Gardner 1 goal and 5 assists. Lane Harmer, Maddie Hartman and Lisa Bredemann also scored. Carly Stevens recorded the shutout in goal.

Water Polo - Boys [Junior Varsity]
LA: 5 | St. Viator High School: 2

Frosh/Soph Loyola 5 - Stevenson 2 In a rematch from last weekend's St. Pat's tournament, the Ramblers held off a tough defensive challenge by Stevenson. Jordan Hodur scored twice from 2m, and 3 other Ramblers added solo goals. Robbie O'Connor held the shutout in goal for 3 quarters.

Water Polo - Boys [Varsity]
LA: 18 | St. Viator High School: 16

Varsity LA 18 - St. Viator 16 The Ramblers won their 3rd game in 3 days by defeating Catholic League and Sectional rival St. Viator. 9 Ramblers contributed goals on the offensive end. TJ Considine led the way with 6 goals, while Pat Stein, William LeCompte, Steve Freedman and Charlie Dowdle all scored twice. With a 2 goal lead and 4:00 remaining in the game, goalie Henry Hermes held off two consecutive 6 on 5 power play attacks by the host Lions, where he racked up a fair amount of his 18 total saves.

The Varsity Girls Water Polo Team beat St. Viator 16-3 Wednesday at Loyola. Goals were scored by Maeve O'Connor (8), Ashley Letrich (5), Krissy Durkin (2), and Ellie Ansani. Kristina Alexander made 12 saves in the goal. The Ramblers play at New Trier on Friday night with the Varsity game at 5:30pm. Go Ramblers!

Water Polo - Boys [Junior Varsity]
LA: 13 | Stevenson High School: 5

Frosh/Soph LA 13 - St. Viator 5 The young Rambler squad increased their winning streak to 6 games as they defeated St. Viator. Jordan Hodur scored 5 goals and also had 4 blocked shots on the defensive end. Tim Netzel scored 4 times and added 1 assist. Robbie O'Connor made 7 saves in goal.

Water Polo - Boys [Varsity]
LA: 19 | Stevenson High School: 7

Varsity Loyola 19 - Stevenson 7 The #13 Ramblers led 6-3 at the end of the 1st quarter against #16 Stevenson and never looked back finishing the game in fine fashion. TJ Considine led all scorers with 6 goals. Conor Murphy found the back of the net 3 times, and 4 other Ramblers collected 2 goals apiece. Henry Hermes played well in net, holding off a 3rd quarter push by the host Patriots.

The Varsity Girls Water Polo Team beat Stevenson 11-9 on Tuesday. Goal were scored by Maeve O'Connor (4), Caitlin Sershon (4), Ashley Letrich, Sarah gross, and Krissy Durkin. Kristina Alexander made 9 saves in the goal. Wednesday the Team hosts St. Viator with F/S at 5pm and Varsity at 6pm. Friday the Team plays at New Trier with Varsity at 5:30pm. Go Ramblers!

LA: 20 | Mt. Carmel High School: 2

Loyola 20 - Mt. Carmel 2 9 different Ramblers scored to lead Loyola over the Caravan Monday evening. Frank Toops led with 5 goals, Steve Freedman and Will LeCompte each added 3 scores as well.
