The Founding of Loyola Loyola Academy was founded in 1909 on the campus of Loyola University in Rogers Park. In 1957, we moved our campus to Wilmette.

Loyola Academy participates in 26 different sports, offering students a chance to play on over 50 different teams. From traditional sports like baseball, basketball, and football to club sports like crew, lacrosse, and sailing, Loyola teams continue a tradition of athletic excellence.
Our 60-acre Theodore G. Munz S.J. Campus demonstrates our committment to our student athletes. The site has fields for baseball, softball, lacrosse, field hockey, soccer as well as a cross country path.
